Welcome to the Tree Cutting Permit application process.

Please note the following application conditions:

• You must have a MySaanich profile to make an application. If you do not have a profile, register for one before starting.
• The application will timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity; draft applications will be saved for 15 days (and accessible through MySaanich Draft Applications

Please review the Tree Cutting Permit webpage prior to submitting your application.

The average application processing period can range from 15-25 business days.

Before you begin your application, ensure you have the following supporting documentation (where applicable):

• Site Plan or picture of approximate location of tree(s)
• Arborist Report
• Other documentation that may assist in presenting current state (tree pictures, damages, site location, etc.)

Only applications submitted by the legal property owner OR an authorized agent will be processed.

• Strata properties must submit minutes that document the name of the individuals (and positions) who are authorized to act on behalf of the Strata.
